Turns out no one’s qualified for this.
Adulthood came with deadlines, debt, and expectations — but not a manual. Most of us are figuring it out in real time, trying to build lives that make sense while pretending we already know what we’re doing. This space was created for that version of you. The one who’s still learning, unlearning, and occasionally Googling “how to be a person.”
I’m Not Qualified for This exists as a reminder that no one actually has it all together, and that being human is a shared experience, not a performance. Here, the mess is the point.
A mix of writing that meets you wherever you are… a little cynical, a little hopeful, and fully human.
What You’ll Find Here
Each piece has the same goal: to help you feel a little more seen in a world that keeps asking us to perform.
The Point of All This
Perfection was never the goal. Connection is.
We share stories not to prove we’ve figured life out, but to remind each other that growth, grief, and grace all live in the same space. Being “unqualified” isn’t a flaw, it’s the most relatable thing about us.
If something here makes you laugh, think, or feel a little less alone, you’re in the right place.
